We accept online orders using Paypal, credit card, Shop Pay and GPay.

All orders are delivered by Australia Post Parcel Post for free. Or upgrade for $4.95 for next business day in the Australia Post Express Post network. Orders received by 11am Monday to Friday are dispatched the same day, from our warehouse in Melbourne, VIC.

We're shipping from Campbellfield, Victoria in Melbourne, Australia. 

We send orders via Express Post and orders received by 11am are dispatched on the same business day. So you can get your order as soon as the next business day.

 

Kindly check whether your post code is included in the Express Post Network.

If you are not 100% satisfied with the remote you can get your money back within 60 days. We also have a 10 year warranty on all remotes too.

We have been selling this remote control for more than 12 years, so we know they last. We stand confidently behind our products in offering a 10 year warranty.

Returns are allowed for any purchases within 30 days of your order if you change your mind for a full refund, please contact our customer service team on contact@universalremotecontrols.com.au to request to return your order.

Yes, this remote control will work with all models. That includes both new and 30+ year old models. 

If in case that it's not compatible, you can return it for a refund within 60 days. 

We cannot guarantee that it will work with your unit if it didn't come with it's own remote, however, we have a 60 day money back guarantee. 

Could you please check that the following is true: 

1. Pressing the power button on the remote turns the remote screen on.
2. As per Method A, you held down the relevant button for up to two minutes whilst pointing the remote at your air conditioner.
3. As per Method B, you held down the SET button for 10 seconds then waited whilst it scanned through the codes from 001 to 999 (as shown in the bottom right-hand corner of the remote screen).
4. With the above two methods, the remote was pointed at the A/C during the setup process from within a few metres. 

Yes, we need the brand of the unit so we can recommend a remote for it. 

Orders received by 11am are dispatched from our warehouse on the same day. Express shipping is delivered the next business day after dispatch to postcodes in the Express Post network. If your order is outside the Express Post network then Australia Post will still try to deliver your order faster than usual. Standard shipping may take 1 to 10 business days depending on your location and there is no tracking available. 

This remote control will work with all models. That includes both new and 30+ year old models, guaranteed! 

 

1. Please check that the remote's screen is working. 
2. Please make sure that the battery's not flat.
3. You point the remote at your A/C and hold down the SET button for 2 seconds and a code starts to flash in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
4. You used the TEMP+ or TEMP-to adjust to the first relevant code here for your Air Conditioner. (the A/C will respond if its compatible).
5. You pressed OK when the A/C respond. (repeat the steps for the other codes if the remote does not control the A/C properly. 

When pressing the power button, the remote screen should turn on, if not, this could indicate the batteries are flat. In case the remote screen turns on, I would suggest resetting the remote to factory settings. To do this, press on the SET + WIND button (directly below the MODE button) at the same time until the remote screen flashes. Once done, kindly refer to the attached user manual to reprogram the remote with the A/C. Also, please know that if the remote seems to have paired with your A/C using one of the codes but won't control the unit properly, you may need to go through all the codes until you get to the one that allows the remote to control your A/C perfectly.  

I am so sorry but the remotes we currently offer do not have a backlight on the screen.  

Have you tried using a remote with this air-conditioner before? If not, our remote won't work for your AC.  

Please check that when you press any button on the remote, the red light in the top left-hand corner flashes. If not, the remote may be faulty or the batteries may be flat. Also, please make sure that the remote is pointed at your device from within a few metres.

 I confirm that our Replacement Remote for Foxtel Pay TV definitely works with IQ3 and it is an infrared remote.

Please follow the below instructions to set that up:  1. Switch your TV on (not on standby).2.Refer to the codes attached.3. Press and release the AV button on the PayTV remote.4. Press and hold the SELECT button and the small red button together until the light on the remote flashes twice.5. Enter the codes for your TV model using the number buttons.6. Point the PayTV remote towards your TV and press the power button. Setup is complete when the TV is switched off.

You should be able to switch from Foxtel to TV by pressing the AV button and switch back to Foxtel by pressing the PAY TV button.
